How to Install Minecraft on Pi
1. Firstly, Login to your raspberry pi, and click the LX Terminal icon to open the terminal window.
2. Use this following command to download the minecraft package from the official site :
wget https://s3.amazonaws.com/assets.minecraft.net/pi/minecraft-pi-0.1.1.tar.gz
3. Then use the following to unzip the contents :
tar -zxvf minecraft-pi-0.1.1.tar.gz
4. This should have created a directory and extracted some files into it. Let’s open that directory :
cd mcpi
5. Finally you run the application using :
./minecraft-pi
6. Successfully, it will load and this following screenshot shows how it looks like when you run it.

Or You can Install This Way
1. Download this following link, and save it in your flash drive (USB stick).

2. Plug the flash drive in your raspberry pi, as well as a keyboard and a mouse. You may need a 7 port USB hub to put the USB in, or you can just plug out your keyboard when not needed.
3. Now, that you are on your raspberry pi go to file manager, and to your flash drive, right click on the minecraft pi file and hit xarchiver.
4. After you have done that right click mcpi, and click extract. Then click the little folder icon, and then desktop, and click open.
5. Click All Files, and then extract. Wait a couple of seconds, and now you can close the xarchiver window ,as well as your flash drive window.
6. Then go on LX Terminal, and type cd /home/pi/Desktop/mcpi. This is where you have extracted the files.
7. After that hit enter, and type ./minecraft-pi. Then again hit enter, this runs the game and minecraft will then load.
